HORNBACH relies on cidaas, Europe’s leading Cloud Identity & Access Management platform, to create a uniform identity across all channels, whether in digital services or in the local DIY stores. 


We are delighted to drive forward the digital transformation with HORNBACH. cidaas with its numerous, innovative functions now serves as the basis for the further digital transformation of HORNBACH, from Single Sign On to digital identity verification with the cidaas ID validator, everything is included.

Now HORNBACH is making life even easier for all its customers by introducing cidaas Customer Identity & Access Management. 

The wide range of functions offered by cidaas was particularly decisive for HORNBACH. With the Single Sign On and intuitive authentication procedures, a uniform identity is established across all channels. Nonetheless, there are now even more innovative functions available, e.g., to create identification in the real world and a link to the digital identity via NFC, beacons, or comparable technologies.

The cidaas ID validator also impresses with its automated identity check for a quick check of driver’s license when renting a trailer or van – and all according to the HORNBACH DIY principle.
