Coveted quality seal “Software Hosted in Germany” for cidaas

The German based software house WidasConcepts has received the coveted quality seal „Software Hosted in Germany“ for its cloud-based software solution “cidaas”.

This certificate honors software solutions, that can be used over the Internet. The prerequisite is that the data and software are hosted in Germany. The seal is awarded by the Bundesverband IT Mittelstand e.V. (BITMi).

The “Software Hosted in Germany” quality seal is awarded only to such software solutions that use German data centers and German contract laws. In addition, it certifies that the German standard for data protection (BDSG) is complied with. The companies with the seal Software Hosted in Germany, place the respective current standard of their technical and organizational measures with regard to data protection (see § 9 BDSG) at BITMi eV. According to the BITMi, the quality seal stands for German quality, best availability, future security and trust in data privacy.
