Prestigious EIC Award 2025 for SRG, cidaas & SECURIX – Recognition for the excellent implementation of a modern digital identity solution
We are delighted to announce that we have once again been honored with one of KuppingerCole’s limited and coveted EIC Awards, together with our customer SRG SSR (Swiss Radio and Television Company) and our integration partner SECURIX. Following successes in the years 2021, 2022, and 2023, this is now the fourth award that cidaas has received from KuppingerCole.
The award was presented at the European Identity and Cloud Conference (EIC) 2025 in Berlin and recognizes the successful introduction of a modern and centralized Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM) system for all SRG digital platforms.
As the solution provider, cidaas worked with SECURIX as the integration partner to implement the technical aspects of this forward-looking identity solution.
The aim of the project was to create a uniform, secure, and user-friendly identity and access management system for all SRG digital services—from TV and radio to streaming and online platforms.
The project highlights:

A single identity for access to all SRG services – thanks to single sign-on (SSO). - Security meets user convenience:
- Adaptive multi-factor authentication (MFA)
- Passwordless login via FIDO2/WebAuthn (in planning)
- Device Code authentication für Smart TVs and other devices
- Fokus on data protection & Compliance:
- Advanced Consent Management
- Full compliance with revDSG (revised Swiss Data Protection Act) and the GDPR
- Innovative user management with group function:
- The “Family & Friends” model enables families and friends to use services together, securely and conveniently – a modern approach to controlled account sharing.
